Protection only counts while it is being worn. Goggles pushed onto a forehead because they fog after ten minutes are providing exactly nothing, and no amount of signage changes that.
Treat anti-fog performance, cuff length and glove sizing as technical requirements alongside the certification standard. Stocking four glove sizes costs less than a single incident, and it removes the most common reason people work bare-handed.
Involve the people at the bench in the trial. Order sample quantities, let the team wear them for a fortnight, and buy what survives real use rather than what looked best on the specification sheet.
